You're dealing with a grown man here that has production deadlines to meet. So the post where I'm stating that Akai isn't Apple and the whole keeping the customer in the know isn't to gripe, but a way to say "I think the Ren can be a great product and I've paid my hard earned money for it, but it should at least help my workflow, not hinder it" Get my point buddy? Now go find you some more boom bap or unboxing videos to entertain yourself. I won't even begin complaining about plugin duplication when copying tracks etc. When I come back to load the program or project, many of the samples are missing with a (?) in front of the name of the sample on the pad. I can load WAV drum samples onto pads and make sequences then save them. So since you're sooooo concerned with showing me videos of producers creating MUSIC, here are some of my productivity issues. I'm not knocking the next guy for posting unboxing videos and showing how to chop the samples from an old record, but for me I create every track from scratch with no samples as I know that's how I retain 100% of my PUBLISHING and don't have to clear samples. Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for Akai MPC Renaissance Beat Production Machine + Excellent Condition + Original Packaging + 1. Holiday, and Lloyd to name a few so I'm sure you get the picture that SONG, not beat production is how I make my living. You see Jah I don't make unboxing videos or 4 bar boom bap videos with my Ren, I'm contracted with Sony/ATV Tunes currently to produce SONGS/RECORDS for Keri Hilson, Ciara, J. I'm so glad that this works with their way of creating loops and chopping samples, but for ME in my producing SONGS with an intro, verse, hook, etc, the Ren doesnt add too, but takes away from my productivity. I've seen the plenty of videos of actual Ren users creating loops and chopping samples and not using it as a paper weight Jah. I can show you plenty of videos of actual Ren users creating music and not using it as a paper weight if you can't locate them yourself.
